Refund Policy

All returns are subject to final approval by a WeldingStore.com representative, who must issue a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RMA #) upon initiating the return.


15 Day Return Policy

WeldingStore.com will accept returns that are initiated within 15 days of receipt of the shipment. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them. All returns must have a RMA# issued by a WeldingStore.com representative. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The item must also be in the original packaging including all original packing materials. Unless otherwise specified, all items are eligible for return to WeldingStore.com with the exception of open filler metal containers and all cylinders.  If an item is returned in an unsaleable condition or is otherwise ineligible, WeldingStore.com reserves the right to decline to credit or return it to the customer. WeldingStore.com reserves the right to refuse any return.

A restocking fee of 25% may apply to any special or custom orders, or non-stock merchandise.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Receiving the Refund

Once your return is received and inspected, WeldingStore.com will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on said inspection. 

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.

Clearance Items

All items marked under “Clearance” at the time of purchase are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Late or Missing Refunds 

If you have been notified that your refund was approved but haven’t received a refund within 7-10 business days after receiving the notification, first check your payment account again, including any bank account or credit card account that you have used to place your order. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted, and there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If after 10 business days, your refund has not posted to your payment account, please contact us at sales@weldingstore.com.

Damaged Goods

There are times a package will arrive in a damaged condition. Although we take every precaution to ensure our merchandise is securely packaged, the delivery company sometimes fails to deliver it in good condition. If this occurs and an item does arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible, and refuse delivery of the item if possible. If the damage is not externally visible and is only discovered once the package is opened, please document all damage in writing and with pictures, and contact us immediately. We will replace the merchandise as quickly as we can and assist you with handling any claim with the delivery service if necessary.

Defective Machines and Equipment

If you have received a defective machine or piece of equipment, you will have 15 days to contact WeldingStore.com. As with our return policy, to initiate your return you will need to obtain an RMA # from a WeldingStore.com representative. Once the item is received a WeldingStore.com representative will inspect the item and verify that it is defective.  Once the defect has been verified, a replacement item will be shipped to you. The item will only be shipped out once the defect in the original item has been verified. If WeldingStore.com determines that the machine/equipment is not defective, not in the original packaging, or missing parts, the machine/equipment will be returned at the customer’s expense.

Exchanges

WeldingStore.com will accept exchanges as long as all criteria of the return policy is met. All exchanges must have an RMA# issued by a WeldingStore.com representative. All items returned for exchange must be in a saleable condition, be in the original packaging with all original packaging materials. All shipping costs involved in exchanges are at the customer’s expense.

Product Warranties

All products that come with a manufacturer warranty are covered by that warranty from manufacturer defects and covered for the length of time specified by that warranty.  WeldingStore.com is not responsible for manufacturer warranties on products and will not provide repairs, exchanges, or other services in connection with those warranties.  Warranty based repairs should be directed to the manufacturer of the product.

Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for paying shipping costs for returned  items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on the shipping location, the time it may take for any exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If the shipped item is over $75 in value, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. WeldingStore.com does not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Processing Your Return

  1. Contact us for a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RMA#). If an item is received without an RMA#, WeldingStore.com reserves the right to return the item to the customer at the customer’s expense.
  2. Double check that your return is in its original packaging, in a saleable condition, and includes all packing materials, manuals, and accessories it was shipped with. If these conditions are not met, WeldingStore.com reserves the right to refuse the return, and no refund will be issued.
  3. We strongly recommend you insure your package for the purchase price of the product in the event that it is lost or damaged during transportation. We recommend using UPS to ship your return as they have tracking numbers and proof of delivery.
