I finally got some real protection for my torso when cutting, grinding, and air hammering. This 100% cowhide side split leather jacket is the bomb. Side split cowhide is just what it say's, it comes from the back and side portions of the cow. Since hides are densest in these areas, side split offers the greatest durability and consistency. This thing is not only heavy and thick, but its great looking with its black suede finish with gold Tillman logo. It has all the bells and whistles such as kevlar stitching, stress point rivets, pockets, and sizing snaps at the neck, wrists, and back. Sizing is spot-on american cut. I'm 6'2" 215 lbs. and the XL fits me perfectly. If you plan on wearing this outdoors in the cold you may want to size up so that you can layer. The Welding Store had the best price going on this Tillman, and shipping plus communication was second to none. Congrats Welding Store for being awesome!
